In plain words
Avomap converts GPX files into videos, transforming tracking data from activities like hiking, running, or cycling into visual content. The tool is designed for athletes, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts who want to share their routes in an engaging format. It takes the technical GPS file format and renders it as watchable video, making it easier to document and present outdoor activities.

3D Terrain simulation for hiking, skiing etc.2025 · github.com · ▲150I'm working on a GPS track visualizer for quite some time. It shines in hilly and mountaineous terrain (where a 3D view makes more sense), but it also offers quite a lot of Strava-like features (statistics etc.). You can upload your GPX and FIT files manually, or sync directly with Garmin, Coros and Polar. See https://cubetrek.com for the live app and check out some examples there. It's free and opens source. Also, anyone who likes to work with 3D visualizations (especially Babylon.js), let me know if you like to help polish this thing further.

Many years ago, I made VJ softwares (to mix live visuals in clubs) for unexpected platforms like the Game Boy Advance, the Playstation 2 and the Raspberry Pi. This year, I’m back with a new web-app: Pikimov. Inspired by Photopea (a free Photoshop clone), I created this web-based motion design & video editor as an alternative to After Effects, to fill empty void. It's free, without signup, without cloud uploads (your files stay on your machine), and your projects are not used for AI models training.
