I made a website that lets YouTubers make money from fan questions
Just wanted to share with you something I built. If you’re a creator or someone who financially supports creators, this will be of interest to you. Qufro.com is a site where creators can monetise their fan interactions. It works this way: A creator sets an amount for answering fan questions. A fan posts a question or a comment and is only charged if the creator responds. From the fan’s perspective, we’re solving the following problem: Not all fans want to commit to a monthly subscription (e.g., on Patreon) to support their favourite creators. What it does
In the maker’s words, at launch
Just wanted to share with you something I built. If you’re a creator or someone who financially supports creators, this will be of interest to you. Qufro.com is a site where creators can monetise their fan interactions. It works this way: A creator sets an amount for answering fan questions. A fan posts a question or a comment and is only charged if the creator responds. From the fan’s perspective, we’re solving the following problem: Not all fans want to commit to a monthly subscription (e.g., on Patreon) to support their favourite creators. With Patreon, ko-fi, etc., there is also no guarantee that the creator will ever personally interact with you. From the creator’s perspective, we’re solving this: There are only so many people willing to subscribe on Patreon, but there’s a lot more people willing to provide one-off monetary support. Moreover, since engaging with fans is key to building a loyal audience, we combine fan interaction with payments so that creators can make some extra income. Thanks for your feedback!

Hey guys, So we made this site with the goal of funding a lobbyist to represent the 99%. The money comes from small pledges of $5 and up. So far we've raised nearly $10k in under a week. We're focusing fund raising efforts on causes. I'm the founder and lead developer, and I'd love to hear this community's thoughts on the project as well as answer any questions. Thanks guys! http://www.wethelobby.com/

We decided to build a content-first video platform, which aims to reduce issues by removing advertisers from the equation. Instead, we charge for the content you watch – bold, I know. Instead of paying in advertising and data, users on Infstream build their own streaming package, a channel at…
