I'm an indie dev and I built a community for creators to get together and collaborate with each other. Mostly for amateur creators, but some famous ones use it as well. It has about 700k users so far. There are about 100k of those users who don't bother to upload an avatar, so they've had a boring default avatar for nearly 7 years. Some of you may know me as a freelance developer and the founder of BugMuncher, but my primary passion in life is actually music. Been in the AI image gen space since 2023, before even GPT image gen was a thing, and after spending ~9K on Facebook ads for my own projects (made a video about that actually) I realized the thing I kept getting stuck on was the creatives themselves. Hey! https://claudecrowd.clodhost.com I made clodhost for an easy to use and share web interface to Claude Code, running on its own vps… and then I realized it’d make it easy to implement an idea I’ve had for a long time… basically Wikipedia but the website CODE is produced peer-to-peer. I know mentioning Michael Seibel is almost cheating, but this week he demonstrated the "leaky pipes" concept to me. Not that I know the guy, but in one of his videos he says something on the lines of "If you are unsure if you app is ready to be launched, just launch it. Hi there! I've been a YouTube content creator during few years (50k subs, ~5M views) and I realized that many creators on the platform have their content stolen and republished on TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts for monetization purposes. I built PixelForge to tackle this problem. The tool allows content creators to work on their horizontal video as they usually do. But once the video is published, they can quickly generate tiktoks/shorts/reels without having to go through the tedious process of video editing again.
