Ideogram 4.0 – open-weight 9.3B text-to-image model
It's our new text-to-image model: a 9.3B single-stream diffusion transformer trained entirely from scratch. We focused heavily on controllability through structured JSON prompts, with strong text rendering, spatial awareness through bounding box guidance, and color palette control. It has the best text rendering of any open-weight model we've tested so far, and the NF4 quantized checkpoint runs on a single 24GB GPU. For more technical details and examples see our blog post: https://ideogram.ai/blog/ideogram-4.0/ We will be happy to answer any questions :)

In plain words
Ideogram 4.0 is an open-weight text-to-image model with 9.3 billion parameters designed for users needing precise control over generated images. It uses structured JSON prompts to enable bounding box guidance, color palette control, and spatial awareness. The model excels at rendering text within images and runs on a single 24GB GPU. It is intended for developers and creators building image generation applications.

Ideogram 4: Open image model at the forefront of design - ideogram-oss/ideogram4
Ideogram 4 is Ideogram 's first open-weight text-to-image model . It is a state-of-the-art foundation model trained from scratch — not a fine-tune of any existing model. It introduces a new structured JSON prompting interface, with best-in-class multilingual text rendering, deep language understanding, explicit bounding-box layout and color-palette controls, and native 2k resolution images. The easiest way to try the model is online at ideogram.ai . We believe openness drives innovation, and we invite the research community to innovate with us on the forefront of visual intelligence. We evaluate Ideogram 4 across third-party arenas and benchmarks, standard open-source benchmarks, and our…from github.com

InvokeAI, an open source Stable Diffusion toolkit and WebUI2022 · github.com · ▲414Hey everyone! Excited to be able to share the release of `InvokeAI 2.0 - A Stable Diffusion Toolkit`, an open source project that aims to provide both enthusiasts and professionals a suite of robust image creation tools. Optimized for efficiency, InvokeAI needs only ~3.5GB of VRAM to generate a 512x768 image (and less for smaller images), and is compatible with Windows/Linux/Mac (M1 & M2). InvokeAI was one of the earliest forks off of the core CompVis repo (formerly lstein/stable-diffusion), and recently evolved into a full-fledged community driven and open source stable…

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
