Added batch processing and image format conversion
Image Tools launched on January 7, 2026 with 6 votes, #2,272 of 14,584 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.
What it does
A new "Image Format Conversion" tool has been added (local processing, no upload, supports batch WebP/JPG/PNG conversion), "Continue where you left off," and support for favorites ★ and recently accessed lists (localStorage). The Image Resizer preview now includes a Safe area overlay switch (suitable for 9:16 Story/Reels). New features include (batch resize + download zip + filename templates).
Check whether an image is ready for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, or Amazon, then resize, compress, convert, and export locally in the browser.
Start with the destination, catch upload issues before they waste a launch, then move the same file into the right local editor. Open a tool, choose a preset when it helps, and export without sending the file to a server. Jump straight into the full resizer for custom width, height, crop, pad, and export settings. Drop in a JPG, PNG, or WebP and start from a canvas that already suggests the next move. Activate the image and surface the frame handles so the user immediately sees what can be resized. Adjust the frame for the selected target ratio, then choose Crop or Pad when the full photo needs to stay visible. Export the selected preset size and keep the composition ready for the next…from img-processing-liard.vercel.app

What it does Resize, crop, and optimize images directly in your browser Supports JPG, PNG, WebP Works offline (PWA-ready) No tracking, no server, no data collection How it works It uses the Canvas API and WebAssembly codecs to process everything locally. All transformations happen in-memory, so no files ever leave your machine. Why I built it I needed a simple, no-BS way to resize images for web and social media — something fast, private. Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
