IncidentHub

Hi, I built this tool to monitor third-party cloud and SaaS services and send notifications, primarily meant for techops/SRE folks. I built this based on my past work experience where I felt a need for such a tool and had to be satisfied with patched together scripts. E.g. Getting alerted when my public cloud has incidents, my monitoring SaaS is unable to send alerts, GitHub has intermittent issues, Slack has trouble delivering messages, Stripe has payment failures for an edge case, and so on. It was important to catch these issues before they impacted my apps. For paging services, I…

What it does

IncidentHub is a status page aggregator that monitors public status pages of your third-party services. It can alert you about outages and upcoming maintenance and gives you a unified status page.

IncidentHub is a vendor outage monitor and status page aggregator. It watches 1125+ third-party services and alerts your team the moment a vendor goes down.

The vendor outage monitor and status page aggregator that watches 1125+ third-party services in real time - and alerts your team the moment a critical vendor goes down. I've been an on-call engineer at startups where "incident management" meant someone panic-creating a Slack channel called #fire-fire-fire, or all incidents handled in the #incidents channel at the same time... and the postmortem was whatever someone remembered to write in Notion three days later. So I built a Slack bot to fix my own workflow. Figured I'd share it. What it does: "/incident start sev2 API latency spike" creates a dedicated channel, invites whoever's on-call, pins the details, and starts recording a timeline. When you run "/incident resolve", it uses GPT-4 to analyze…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…
