INR Mate
INR and Warfarin tracking made easy
What it does
Created by a UK based Nurse Practitioner of 25 years, aortic aneurysm survivor, and lifelong warfarin user, INR Mate helps people taking warfarin record INR readings, log doses, set reminders, review trends and export records across Apple devices. Designed for ease of use and with privacy front and centre, INR Mate keeps your data in your possession, we never see it much less keep it.

INR Mate helps you record INR results, log warfarin doses, set reminders, review trends and keep appointment-ready records across iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. For tracking and record keeping only. I’m Alistair Hutchinson, a UK-based Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of healthcare experience, and I take warfarin long term after an aortic valve replacement. I built INR Mate because I wanted a calmer, clearer way to keep my INR results, warfarin doses, reminders and notes organised, without pretending an app should replace clinical advice. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
