InstaRemind

What it does

Improve your productivity by extending your Apple Reminders with the InstaRemind app and instantly create reminders like never before! Just create your personal global shortcut and you can create a reminder from anywhere on your mac within seconds.

InstaRemind is a macOS menu bar app that lets you instantly create Apple Reminders with a global shortcut. Add lists, due dates, priorities and more without leaving your current app.

InstaRemind sits in your menu bar. Press your shortcut anywhere on your Mac, type one line, and it lands in Apple Reminders, with the list, date and priority already set. A demonstration: press your global shortcut anywhere on your Mac, type “Call dentist #Personal tomorrow 2:30pm p1”, and InstaRemind files it in your Personal list, due tomorrow at 2:30 PM, at high priority. Type #Work anywhere in the line to file the reminder in that list. Write a date and a time. Choose dd/MM or MM/dd, and 24-hour or am/pm. Add every week or every 2 weeks and the reminder comes back on schedule. Option-Return saves the reminder and leaves you ready for the next one. InstaRemind does one job and stays out…from instaremindapp.com

When you learn to program there's all of these amazing tutorials, examples and guides, but what was there for new managers? In response to this, a couple of years ago I started a blog over at https://www.theengineeringmanager.com which got a decent amount of…
