In plain words
Interactive visual solver for the traveling salesman problem is a web-based tool that helps users understand and solve the traveling salesman problem, a classic optimization challenge. It visualizes different solution approaches and allows users to interact with algorithms in real time. The tool is designed for students, educators, and anyone interested in computer science concepts and mathematical problem-solving. It makes abstract algorithmic concepts concrete through visual demonstrations.

The traveling salesman problem (TSP) asks the question, "Given a list of cities and the distances between each pair of cities, what is the shortest possible route that visits each city and returns to the origin city?". Heuristic algorithms attempt to find a good approximation of the optimal path within a more reasonable amount of time. Exhaustive algorithms will always find the best possible solution by evaluating every possible path. These algorithms are typically significantly more expensive then the heuristic algorithms discussed next. The exhaustive algorithms implemented so far include: Pull requests are always welcome!
