IPDetective – An API for IP bot detection
IPDetective collects data from about 60+ different sources such as official cloud provider endpoints and public VPN/Proxy/Tor/Bot net lists. Then aggregates this data into a fast and easy to use API that can be integrated into applications or scripts easily. IPDetective started as a hobby project for my other hobby projects :) and I decided to wrap a simple website around and offer it as a service. Let me know what your thoughts, if you find value in this service or if you have any feature requests.

In plain words
IPDetective is an API that identifies bot activity and suspicious IP addresses by aggregating data from over 60 sources, including cloud provider endpoints and public lists of VPNs, proxies, Tor nodes, and botnets. Developers can integrate it into applications or scripts to detect and filter non-human traffic. The service offers a centralized way to check IP reputation without managing multiple data sources separately.

Bot, proxy and fake email detection without captchas2025 · truesign.ai · ▲9I've been researching the bot & proxies space for years. I slowly incubated a service to protect public forms, contents and APIs. It recenty reached a few million daily requests and I now dare to bring it to light. Truesign detects bots, proxies/vpns and fake emails, through a single request from the browser, without challenges or user interaction. It can block the request based on rules you choose, or grant a token with encrypted information about the visitor for you to decide. I created a few pages to showcase how it works: - https:/demo.truesign.ai/protected-form : a form…

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

A couple of years ago, I had an interesting idea. What if there was a marketplace where all the underlying tech was open-source? The order management system, the storefront, customer support, etc. The marketplace would simply connect to the seller’s infra instead of locking them in. If, for some reason, the seller is removed from the marketplace, their software stays with them and they can continue accepting orders directly. This model can be used to disrupt any marketplace from AirBNB to UberEats: building tech for home renters and restaurants and later, leveraging that to build a competing…
