A Jeopardy game

What it does

I have created a game that allows anyone to create a Jeopardy game and host it for their friends, family or in the class room. It stands out as I have implemented a buzzer system, allowing the participants to be buzzing in whenever they know the answer. The site itself should also be very easy both for creating a Jeopardy, and playing it. I have ran this game several times for friends and Family, and we have had alot of fun playing it. I now hope that other may also experience this :)

    I built a Jeopardy game maker with buzzer support2024 · buzzinga.io · ▲284

Sometime in early 2022, my wife and I started watching Jeopardy! regularly, almost by accident. Inspired, I thought it would be fun to create and host my own games with family and friends. By September 2022, I debuted Buzzinga at a family reunion. Back then, it was just a website running locally on my MacBook. It was a total blast, and I knew this was something the world should enjoy too. I launched Buzzinga.io in December 2023 and have been rolling out regular updates for our 2000+ users ever since. Features: - Built-in buzzer support (phones and physical buzzers) - Automatic scorekeeping -…

    I made a puzzle game that gently introduces my favorite math mysteries2024 · rahulilango.com · ▲1,054

This is the first iteration of a short game I’m making that tries to interactively explain some of my favorite math questions / ideas. My goal is mostly to get the player curious and not necessarily to explain absolutely everything. There were a lot of fun technical parts to building this: - For implementation reasons, it’s much easier if the lines all have integer intersection points with each other. To do this, when a new line is added I “cheat” by rounding intersections to integers and then splitting the old lines at the intersection into new linds (with potentially different slopes)…

Hey, maker here. After launching a daily word search game, I randomly thought of this math game while driving. Finally got around to making it and I think it turned out pretty cool. It’s a math search game that’s meant to help you practice your quick addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills. I’m hoping it’ll help people (even those like me who aren’t big on math) learn and increase their speeds. (There are also some settings you can enable to make the game harder) If you try it out, please let me know if you found it fun, if you have anything you’d like me to add, or if you…
