Atlassian deprecated the Backup Manager API on March 30, 2026. Their replacement is a paid add-on for Premium/Enterprise only — leaving Standard plan users with nothing. jira-project-backup-restore is a free open-source Python tool using public REST API v3: - Full project backup (issues, comments, worklogs, attachments, boards) - 5-phase resumable restore with dry-run support - Cross-instance restore - pip install jira-project-backup-restore
