JoharBus is a community-powered app for local bus timings. Built in Dumka, Jharkhand — growing route by route, contributed by real commuters.

JoharBus is a mobile app for searching local bus timings and routes in Jharkhand, India — community-powered, built by a commuter, for commuters. No more guessing, no more waiting at the stand for hours. In Dumka and across Jharkhand, private local buses run on routes everyone knows by word-of-mouth — but nobody ever put it online. You either knew someone who knew the timing, or you waited at the stand and hoped. JoharBus is building that missing record, one verified route at a time. We started here in Dumka. The goal is to grow this into a route-by-route record for every local bus corridor in Jharkhand, and beyond, as more commuters join in.
