Joplin is an open source note taking and to-do application, which can handle a large number of notes organised into notebooks. Evernote notes can be imported, and synchronisation is supported via Nextcloud, Dropbox, OneDrive. The notes are in Markdown format.

Joplin is an open source note-taking app. Capture your thoughts and securely access them from any device. Images, videos, PDFs and audio files are supported. Create math expressions and diagrams directly from the app. Take photos with the mobile app and save them to a note. With Joplin Cloud, share your notes with your friends, family or colleagues and collaborate on them. You can also publish a note to the internet and share the URL with others. Use the web clipper extension, available on Chrome and Firefox, to save web pages or take screenshots as notes.
