JProx
I built JProx to solve a specific problem: scraping Japanese sites (Mercari, Rakuten, SUUMO) that aggressively block foreign IPs and datacenter proxies. Features: - Japanese residential IPs (Tokyo) - Simple REST API with Claude MCP support - 1,000 free requests/month - $7/mo for 5,000 requests Built with: FastAPI, Next.js, PostgreSQL I'm a solo developer in Japan. Would love feedback on the pricing and API design.
JProx launched on January 30, 2026 with 5 votes, #3,400 of 14,584 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.
What it does
JProx is a proxy service optimized for Japanese e-commerce sites. Problem: Most proxies fail on Japanese websites due to sophisticated anti-bot systems. Solution: • Japan-optimized residential IPs • Works with Mercari, Rakuten, Amazon JP, Yahoo JP, SUUMO • MCP-native - use directly from Claude or AI agents • Simple REST API with free tier (1,000 requests/month) Perfect for developers building Japan-focused apps, price monitoring, or AI agents needing Japanese data.
Access Japanese websites with residential IPs. Simple API for developers to scrape geo-restricted content.
# Japanese Residential Proxy API Service Japan Proxy for Web Scraping Access Japan-restricted websites with real Japanese residential IP addresses. 1/3 the cost of competitors like Bright Data or Oxylabs. Starting at $19/month . JProx is a Japanese residential proxy API service designed for developers who need to access Japan-only websites or bypass geo-restrictions. Many Japanese websites like Mercari , SUUMO , and Rakuten block foreign IP addresses or show different content to non-Japanese visitors. JProx solves this by routing your requests through real residential IPs in Japan. Use cases: Price monitoring, market research, real estate data collection, job listing aggregation, e-commerce…from jprox.dev

Stop AI scrapers from hammering your self-hosted blog (using porn)Dec 2025 · github.com · ▲373Alright so if you run a self-hosted blog, you've probably noticed AI companies scraping it for training data. And not just a little (RIP to your server bill). There isn't much you can do about it without cloudflare. These companies ignore robots.txt, and you're competing with teams with more resources than you. It's you vs the MJs of programming, you're not going to win. But there is a solution. Now I'm not going to say it's a great solution...but a solution is a solution. If your website contains content that will trigger their scraper's safeguards, it will get dropped from their data…
InteguruMay 2026 · integuru.com · ▲161Hey HN! We’re Alan and Richard from Integuru (YC W24). We generate fast, reliable integrations for platforms lacking official APIs. About 2 years ago, we released the first agent that reverse-engineers network traffic to build integrations (https://github.com/Integuru-AI/Integuru). Since then, we’ve developed a new approach to reverse-engineer platforms’ source code directly. This solution also includes authentication support. Here’s a demo: https://youtu.be/4l2L8fILC2g?si=nbWbDiFrWZIWRPM7. Many AI products need to integrate with web apps, but platforms…

CORSPROXYFeb 2026 · corsproxy.io · ▲8Hi HN — solo developer here. I built this tool ~4 years ago purely to solve my own frustration with CORS and repeated proxy setup. The idea was intentionally boring: just prefix a URL and get control over the request and response. Somehow it grew to serving billions of requests per day, including usage by companies and universities. I’m sharing it here mainly to: - get technical feedback - learn what people would actually use a proxy like this for - understand what I should simplify or remove

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
