What it does

Kessa is an open-source system for verifiable AI agent delegation and attestation. Every consequential agent action carries a signed chain of custody back to the human who authorized it, built so that authority can only narrow at each step, never expand. The core differentiator: an independent verifier that checks the evidence trail offline, trusting nothing about the system that produced it, not even the enforcement point itself. Self-hostable, stdlib-only Go, open source.

Kessa is a self-hostable verifier for AI agent delegation and attestation. Clone it, cut the network, and it re-derives every verdict from signed evidence.

Kessa is a self-hostable, independent verifier for AI agent delegation and attestation. It re-derives the authorization history of any agent action from exported evidence alone, trusting no running service, no database, and specifically not the enforcement point that produced the log. Autonomous agents increasingly act under a delegation chain: a human authorizes an org, an org authorizes an agent, an agent authorizes a sub-agent. Kessa records every consequential action in a tamper-evident audit log, and lets an independent verifier re-check that record without trusting anyone who wrote it, including the system that enforced it. The repository is public. kessa verify runs offline, with no…from kessa.gneiss-group.com

Hi HN, Fernando and I built Kastra. Kastra intercepts AI agent tool calls and evaluates them against deterministic policies before they execute. We built this product to control pre- and post-inference workloads. This is aimed at developers using coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenClaw. Kastra pushes an allow, hold, and deny decision before the action runs. You can build these policies in plain English from the web app. The interception engine evaluates the tools, targets, and parameters of every action at sub 1ms at a scale of billions of interceptions per day. We also…

"Cyris is the orchestration layer your AI agents are missing. Whether you're a two-person startup or a 10,000-employee health system — connect agents from OpenClaw, Claude, GPT-4o, Ollama, EPIC, or any platform and have them coordinate, hand off, and escalate across your entire organization. Self-hosted. Auditable. Human-governed" Just a side project I've been working on, and was curious whether people would actually find something like this useful! I'd recommend checking out the sandbox as well.

    Kexa.io – Open-Source IT Security and Compliance Verification2025 · ▲81

Hi HN, We're building Kexa.io (https://github.com/kexa-io/Kexa), an open-source tool developed in France (incubated at Euratech Cyber Campus) to help teams automate the often tedious process of verifying IT security and compliance. Keeping track of configurations across diverse assets (servers, K8s, cloud resources) and ensuring they meet security baselines (like CIS benchmarks, etc.) manually is challenging and error-prone. Our goal with the open-source core is to provide a straightforward way to define checks, scan your assets, and get clear reports on your security…

  • Kelet – Root Cause Analysis agent for your LLM appsApr 2026 · kelet.ai · ▲47

I've spent the past few years building 50+ AI agents in prod (some reached 1M+ sessions/day), and the hardest part was never building them — it was figuring out why they fail. AI agents don't crash. They just quietly give wrong answers. You end up scrolling through traces one by one, trying to find a pattern across hundreds of sessions. Kelet automates that investigation. Here's how it works: 1. You connect your traces and signals (user feedback, edits, clicks, sentiment, LLM-as-a-judge, etc.) 2. Kelet processes those signals and extracts facts about each session 3. It forms hypotheses…

  • Hey HN, We recently built Clipto. It’s a tool that lets you search over terabytes of video, audio, and images on your computer, without relying on the cloud. Motivation: we probably all had this similar experience, we know a moment exists in a video or audio, but finding it takes hours scrubbing the timeline. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

  • Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
