Keyline Icons
585 icons on one 24 grid, built for shadcn/ui
What it does
585 drawings on a single 24x24 grid, in stroke, duotone and fill: 1,497 SVGs in all. Built to one standard rather than collected: 2px keylines, the same corner radii, the same gap between parts, every drawing. Duotone and fill are derived from the stroke drawing, so the three weights can never disagree. Copy one from the site, npm i @keyline-icons/react, add one at a time with the CLI, or drop one onto a Figma canvas with the plugin. MIT, no attribution.
585 free MIT-licensed icons for shadcn/ui, drawn on one 24×24 grid in stroke, duotone and fill, rounded or sharp. Search the set, copy any icon as SVG or JSX, or import the React components.
Every drawing follows the same rules, so two icons picked months apart still look like they belong together. 3 weights per drawing: stroke, duotone and fill, each cut rounded or sharp. 2,994 files in all. Free under the MIT License , in commercial work as much as personal. Stroke is the drawing; the other two are derived from it, and every one of them is cut both rounded and sharp. A family stays recognisable whichever weight a surface calls for. The full set, and the drawing every other style is derived from. 2px keylines on a 24 grid. The same keylines over a flat plate at reduced opacity, for surfaces that need weight without going solid. Solid, with the detail knocked back out of the…from keylineicons.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
