Keymap

Every shortcut, one ⌘⌘ away.

What it does

Keymap is a macOS menubar app that shows every menu shortcut in the app you're using. Double-press ⌘ to summon the panel. Local and private.

Keymap shows every menu shortcut in the app you're using. Double-press ⌘ to summon the panel. Spot conflicts. Remap keys. All local, all private. Summon a beautiful, searchable shortcut panel with two quick taps of the Command key. Works system-wide. No manual setup. Keymap reads each app's menu bar and lists its shortcuts — in Safari, VS Code, Figma, anywhere. When two shortcuts collide, Keymap flags it with severity and fix suggestions — across app menus and your own remaps. See which shortcuts you actually use and your conflict-free rate over time. Remap shortcuts to any key combo, per-app or global. ⌘T → ⇧⌘T in one click. Loops and system-reserved keys like ⌘Q stay protected. Search,…from keymap.app

    ShowMeYourHotKeys – A macOS app to show applications menu shortcuts2022 · showmeyourhotkeys.moxadventu.com · ▲44

Hi everyone, ShowMeYourHotKeys is a macOS application I worked for the last months. This app shows the frontmost app's menu items shortcuts (it also have some other features) There is a beta version available on the website. Accessibility permission is necessary to obtain menu items informations and Full disk Access is necessary to create custom shortcuts. I would love to hear all the feedbacks and suggestions. Thank you for your attention.

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
