Kill Comic Sans

What it does

Because every designer (and plenty of non-designers) has a soft spot for the world’s most infamous font. Kill Comic Sans started as a playful tribute to the font everyone loves to hate — a lighthearted way to poke fun while celebrating the passion people have for good design. It just happens to be a very, very specific place. We all know someone who’s tried to take it beyond its natural habitat. That tension between intent and execution made the font the perfect punchline, and gave us an excuse to build something funny, interactive, and just a little bit cathartic. Building this game put us right in the middle of that conversation — exposing hundreds of people to our work in web and app…from objective.dev
