Kreya
Build APIs faster! Privacy focused, offline-first API client
What it does
Kreya is a privacy focused GUI client for gRPC, REST, GraphQL and WebSocket APIs (think Postman). Kreya stores all data locally in a JSON format, giving the user full control over it. Kreya projects are designed to be shared with others users via Git. Thanks to its unique features, Kreya makes building and testing APIs faster. Designed to be easy to use while also supporting advanced use cases, such as HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 support.

Hi HN! For over a year we've been working on Kreya. At first, it only supported gRPC, because the alternative tools (eg. BloomRPC) were very limited in their functionality. Since then, we have added many features, trying hard to keep the UI clean while still supporting advanced use cases. Yesterday, we released Kreya v1.8, which added support for REST! In our opinion, Kreya is a good alternative to the existing tools out there. Sure, it may not support all the features that Postman has. But we think that Kreya has some innovative approaches (eg. authentication or API importers) that users…

Hey folks. I'm the author of kr8s. I’ve been working on kr8s for a while now and one of my core goals is to build a Python library for Kubernetes that is the most simple, readable and produces the most maintainable code. It should enable folks to write clean code when working with the Kubernetes API. If you're interested in how it compares with other libraries then check out [this post](https://jacobtomlinson.dev/posts/2023/comparison-of-kr8s-vs-...). Happy to answer any questions you might have in the comments here .

Hi HN, I want to share with you an IntelliJ plugin I have developed and launched. Based on my own needs, I wanted a plugin that monitors my coding practices and gives me stats about them in order for me to improve on them. So, here is Kasama: An IDE plugin that works like a sport fitness tracker, gathering data on: - your coding sessions, i.e. how long are you active in the IDE and for which project - your activity in different modules, and how the activity is split between test code and prod code - your version control (git) interactions: how often you commit, the lifespan your branches,…
