Kryon AI
AI that catches risky PRs before they break prod
Kryon AI launched on August 4, 2026 with 3 votes, #2,940 of 23,274 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches.
What it does
Kryon connects to your GitHub repo and analyzes pull requests before you merge not just linting, actual risk intelligence. It flags hidden security issues, regressions, and business-logic risks, predicts what your tests aren't covering, and auto-generates Playwright specs to close those gaps. Instead of "here's a diff," you get a real risk score and merge confidence rating. Code is processed transiently, nothing is stored. Built solo, still early would love feedback.
Mission control for pull request risk. AI-powered risk analysis, test planning, and merge decisions.
Kryon analyzes pull requests, predicts hidden risk, generates testing intelligence, and creates Playwright specifications before bugs reach production. A seamless sequence translating code changes into deep actionable testing intelligence. Securely authorize Kryon using GitHub OAuth to access repositories and pull requests. Choose the pull request that requires intelligence analysis and testing validation. Kryon analyzes modified files, dependencies, execution paths, and architectural impact. Identify security vulnerabilities, regressions, access-control issues, and business logic risks. Forecast which code paths are not covered by existing tests before deployment. We built an AI to review your pull requests2025 · infinitcode.ai · ▲53Hey HN, We’re two developers (co-founders) with a team of 20 who got tired of spending hours reviewing PRs, so we built Infinitcode.ai, an AI-powered code reviewer that: - *Summarizes PRs in plain English*: No more deciphering 1,000-line diff jungles - *Catches more than bugs*: Security holes, performance pitfalls, code smells, even typos (yes, we’ll flag “vurnerabilities” and vulnerabilities) - *Zero onboarding*: Works instantly—no “let me learn your codebase for weeks” nonsense. Why we’re posting: We’re in alpha and need brutal honesty. Roast our tool, mock our UI, or tell us why AI will…

- IBI built a tool to assist AI agents to know when a PR is good to goJan 2026 · dsifry.github.io · ▲45
I've been using Claude Code heavily, and kept hitting the same issue: the agent would push changes, respond to reviews, wait for CI... but never really know when it was done. It would poll CI in loops. Miss actionable comments buried among 15 CodeRabbit suggestions. Or declare victory while threads were still unresolved. The core problem: no deterministic way for an agent to know a PR is ready to merge. So I built gtg (Good To Go). One command, one answer: $ gtg 123 OK PR #123: READY CI: success (5/5 passed) Threads: 3/3 resolved It aggregates CI status, classifies review comments…
GitReviewed2025 · gitreviewed.com · ▲18Hi HN, I’m Valentin, a developer who’s found code reviews to be a slow process, especially after context switching or juggling different projects and languages. Even reviewing my own code can be tough when I’ve lost the thread or just need a fresh perspective. Over the past few weekends, I built GitReviewed to make PR reviews faster, smarter, and genuinely useful for real teams. What it does: - Reviews any GitHub or GitLab pull/merge request with AI-powered comments, spotting security issues, code patterns, typos, and more - Posts comments as you (not a bot), so feedback fits naturally…

Clipto MCP▲655Hey HN, We recently built Clipto. It’s a tool that lets you search over terabytes of video, audio, and images on your computer, without relying on the cloud. Motivation: we probably all had this similar experience, we know a moment exists in a video or audio, but finding it takes hours scrubbing the timeline. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
