Lattice
Analyse and Organise your Diagrams!
What it does
Lattice is a Chrome extension that brings AI intelligence to your system design diagrams. Stop losing diagrams in 'write-once, read-never' limbo. Organize diagrams into collections, evaluate architecture with one click, and catch 'Architecture Smells' early. Features multiple analysis modes (Architecture & Logic), context-aware feedback, auto-save history, and ZIP exports. All data is stored locally. Bring your own Gemini key for full privacy. Design smarter, not just faster.

In the past I've used declarative diagram generation tools like Mermaid.js a lot for quickly drawing up things but for presentations or deliverables I find that I have to then move the generated diagrams over to a tool like Lucidchart which allows full control of the organization and customization. Therefore I am now working on this to combine the benefits of both into just one tool which can do both functions. The project is certainly in the early stages but if you find yourself making architecture diagrams I'd love to hear your thoughts on the idea or even a Github issue for a feature…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
