Linehaul
Automated freight invoice processing & AP tariff auditing
What it does
Linehaul automates freight invoice processing and AP auditing for shippers, wholesale distributors, and 3PLs. Instead of manual data entry, Linehaul extracts line items from carrier PDFs and EDI 210 files, audits fuel surcharges and CWT rates with ±$0.05 precision, catches duplicate PRO numbers, and generates 1-click formula-shielded exports for NetSuite and QuickBooks Online.
Linehaul helps warehouse and distribution AP teams catch freight overcharges, duplicate bills, fuel surcharge errors, and accessorial discrepancies before payment — while reducing manual invoice entry and reconciliation work.
Linehaul gives warehouse and distribution AP teams a pre-payment control layer for carrier invoices: validate rate and fuel math, stop duplicate bills, review questionable accessorials, and eliminate repetitive invoice re-keying. No account or credit card required for the audit. Customer names and account numbers may be redacted. Recalculate freight, fuel, CWT, minimums, and other invoice charges before approval. Surface repeated PROs and previously processed freight bills before a second payment leaves AP. Extract freight invoice data automatically instead of typing the same carrier bill into another system. Submit 1–3 recent carrier PDFs. We will review the line items and email an…from trylinehaul.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
