In plain words
This tool enables code generation using Gemma 4, a local large language model, accessed through e2B's JSON AST interface and designed to output Clojure code. It targets developers who want to generate Clojure programs locally without relying on cloud-based AI services. The approach of converting JSON abstract syntax trees to Clojure distinguishes it as a structured, language-specific generation method rather than free-form text output.

This project is a local code-generation harness for turning text specs into Clojure programs. The validated local setup was tested with Gemma 4 E2B GGUF served by llama.cpp. Other models may work, but they are untested. The core idea is to stop asking a small local model to write full source code directly. Instead, the model emits constrained JSON AST fragments. The harness validates those fragments, assembles larger structures programmatically, lowers the accepted AST to Clojure, and records every generation/repair artifact in SQLite. The business-rule plugin generates Clojure data-transformation functions. bb json-run \ --self-plan \ --skeleton-first \ --where-pass \ --column-pass \…from github.com

LLMs can generate valid JSON 100% of the time2023 · github.com · ▲854Outlines is a Python library that focuses on text generation with large language models. Brandon and I are not LLM experts and started the project a few months ago because we wanted to understand better how the generation process works. Our original background is probabilistic, relational and symbolic programming. Recently we came up with a fast way to generate text that matches a regex (https://blog.normalcomputing.ai/posts/2023-07-27-regex-guide...). The basic idea is simple: regular expressions have an equivalent Deterministic-Finite Automaton (DFA) representation. We…

Programming Google Flutter with Clojure2022 · github.com · ▲159This proof-of-concept project combines: - Flutter, from Google; - ClojureDart, port of Clojure to Dart from Tensegritics; and - Matrix, a reactive framework from moi. So, yes, we can now program Flutter with a Lisp. Yay. Project includes dozens of working examples and a full implementation of the TodoMVC classic to help tire-kickers play around. Support installing freely available on the #matrix channel on the Clojurians Slack.

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
