Loodio 2 – A Simple Rechargable Bathroom Privacy Device
Hey HN! I posted here some years ago trying to raise money for a Kickstarter for a product I call Loodio. Loodio is a motion activated music player for bathrooms that plays music during the bathroom visit to give users privacy during their sacred moments. The kickstarter failed, but I managed to create a product eventually with a lot of effort. I managed to sell 150 units of the first unit, mostly to United States but to all different parts of the world while working on the next version. The problem with the first version was that it was running on a Raspberry Pi Zero W (that had to be wall…

In plain words
Loodio 2 is a rechargeable, motion-activated music player designed for bathroom privacy. The device automatically plays music when it detects movement, masking sounds during bathroom use. Unlike the original version, Loodio 2 runs on a compact, battery-powered system rather than a Raspberry Pi, offers improved audio quality, and starts instantly without boot delays. Users can add music more easily than the previous model, which required SSH access. The product is intended for anyone seeking acoustic privacy in the bathroom.

Hi HN! A few years ago our company moved to a new office. That office has a insufferable bathroom in terms of privacy. You could hear a needle fall on the floor inside of it which made it very uncomfortable to use the bathroom. Many people ran the tap water or fake coughed to cover their “noises”, especially doing “no 2”. I got sick of not being able to be comfortable in the bathroom and hearing everyone’s toilet business so I decided to make a music player using a Raspberry Pi and soldered on a motion detector that started a white noise and music whenever you entered the bathroom to hide…

Tapflow 2.0▲1,125We built Tapflow for devs, designers, PMs, and tech folks who’ve been sitting on internal docs, templates, and systems — but never productized them. Upload a PDF, notes, or workshop deck, and Tapflow drafts a structured product (with chapters, teaser and pricing plans). It’s good for AI kits, onboarding guides, design systems, and frameworks. You can sell through Stripe, LemonSqueezy, or PayPal. Real-time collaboration is in early beta. No site builder, no LMS — clean design and just focused tools to ship.
