Maestro

Pilot a fleet of 20+ coding agents with zero collisions

Maestro launched on August 14, 2026 with 1 votes, #11,494 of 23,274 launches that month.

What it does

Maestro runs on Mac, Windows and Linux. It works with the agent CLIs you already use, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode or Kimi, through the logins you already have, and never stores an API key. Every agent gets its own git worktree, terminal, diff viewer and a live preview of your app it can click around in. There are no limits to how many agents you can spin up. You can chain multi-harness coding agent workflows with custom prompts. It even runs whole projects on a remote box over SSH.

Run Claude Code, Codex, and other coding agents in parallel, each in an isolated git worktree with its own terminal, chat, and diff. Free for macOS, Windows & Linux.

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Kimi Code, and Grok Build side by side — each in its own git worktree. You hand out tasks and review results. How you’ll use it 1. Hand out tasks Describe the task and go — each workspace is a fresh worktree on its own branch. The rail shows who’s working, who’s waiting on you, and what’s done. Read the diff, ask for changes in the same chat, and open the PR. No. Maestro is a desktop app — there’s no Maestro server and no account. Agents run locally in your shell with your own credentials, and talk only to their own providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, and so on), exactly as if you’d run them in a terminal…from maestro-build.com

Single-agent LLMs suck at long-running complex tasks. We’ve open-sourced a multi-agent orchestrator that we’ve been using to handle long-running LLM tasks. We found that single LLM agents tend to stall, loop, or generate non-compiling code, so we built a harness for agents to coordinate over shared context while work is in progress. How it works: 1. Orchestrator agent that manages task decomposition 2. Sub-agents for parallel work 3. Subscriptions to task state and progress 4. Real-time sharing of intermediate discoveries between agents We tested this on a Putnam-level math problem, but the…

Hi guys, I've been using Claude Code for almost everything lately. Have given one an email account so it can research business leads, draft emails, fact-check them and clear them with me before sending (works really well by the way). I also tend to have a few Claude Code agents running at any one time for coding. I used to create a split terminal to manage them from there, but found working in the terminal all day pretty depressing and, more importantly, found it hard to follow Claude Code's process and see which agents needed my immediate attention. I tried Anthropic's VS Code Claude Code…

  • Hey HN, We recently built Clipto. It’s a tool that lets you search over terabytes of video, audio, and images on your computer, without relying on the cloud. Motivation: we probably all had this similar experience, we know a moment exists in a video or audio, but finding it takes hours scrubbing the timeline. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

  • Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
