Make it RAIN

Find who may pay before you automate a guess

What it does

Make it RAIN is for technical founders who already shipped but still need to learn who may pay. Paste a product URL and get a free First Customer Path: buyer hypothesis, paid pain, smallest paid offer, price test, Buyer Stress Test, and next conversation. Unlike another generic GTM plan or lead list, it stress-tests the offer before more outreach and uses buyer outcomes to improve the next move. No card. Nothing sends without approval.

Find who may pay, stress-test the offer, and the next conversation worth having. Paste your product URL for a commercial result before an account, then save to run First Customer Path.

Start with a focused First Customer Path. When the decision needs a closer look, a Make it RAIN Pro Review goes further into who may pay, what is still unproven, what could fail, and what to test next. A focused commercial brief that identifies who may pay, the paid wedge to test, what remains unproven, and the next conversation worth having. Parents like the idea until they realize a calendar, camera roll, and their vet portal already do 80 percent of this for free. Talk to: Multi-pet or multi-clinic dog/cat parents who board, use daycare, or travel and have been asked for clean vaccine proof more than once. ████████ Plus: scan or import vaccine records once, auto-build a boarding-ready…from makeitrainapp.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
