Make Taksh

The maker badge that cross-links every app you've shipped

What it does

Make Taksh is a maker badge you drop onto every site you've shipped one line of code on, free forever, no card required. The badge sits quietly in the corner, and any visitor who taps it sees your other apps, so each launch keeps sending traffic to the others instead of starting every project from zero. Built for indie makers and small studios running several products at once.

The maker badge that cross-links every app you've shipped. One line of code per site, for makers with more than one thing live. Free for 7 days, then $10 once.

Your launches don't compound, because none of them point at each other. A maker badge fixes that: one line of code, on every site you own, permanently. Two of them you do once, ever. The third one is the reason the other two were worth it. Sign in with Google and pick a username. A 30-second tutorial builds the first badge for you — it drives your own editor, so you can grab the controls off it at any point — and then you drop in everything you've shipped: name, link, one line of what it does. That's your maker hub. Your badge is live from the moment you claim the handle, free for 7 days, and the line goes anywhere a <script> tag goes: Next.js, Astro, WordPress, Framer, a raw index.html. Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes&#x2F;sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
