Mapping supply chain of products (updated)
An initial thinking about how the increases on NATO's budget might might stimulate manufacturing in Europe led me to generate this map to understand better the hardware landscape. Credits to Gemini 2.5 pro on deep research mode, after a long conversation exploring questions around NATO and manufacturing, the generation of the map was smooth.

What it does
Use our free, browser‑based supply chain mapping tool to visualise complex supplier networks for products like the Airbus A400M, inertial navigation systems, rear‑wheel steering systems, and Belgian praliné chocolate.
Use our interactive Explorer to map supplier networks, uncover hidden dependencies, and generate shareable visualisations—all in your browser. ABB is a global leader in robotics and automation. While their main robotics factories are in Sweden and China, their Belgian hub in Zaventem is crucial for sales, service, and the integration of robots into complete automated solutions for the Benelux market. The supply chain for an industrial robot is deeply global, relying on highly specialized suppliers for precision mechanics, advanced electronics, and specialized materials. The Agfa Eclipse is a high-performance, chemistry-free offset printing plate used in the commercial printing industry for…from beneluxmanufacturing.com

Hey HN, I built ProductMap AI, a tool that automatically identifies features implemented in source code and organizes them in a visual hierarchy. The goal is to help developers quickly understand poorly documented codebases. Link: https://product-map.ai/ I’d love feedback from the HN community! Let me know what you think. Would this be useful for you?
I simulated closing the Strait of Hormuz on real oil trade dataJul 2026 · globaloilnetwork.staffinganalytics.io · ▲244OP here: I created this visualization tool as the byproduct of a supply chain class I taught at Columbia. The pedagogical exercise grew into a full blown visualization and paper about global oil trade. The model: The mechanics are the same as the financial network Eisenberg-Noe: Instead of banks, every country consumes oil interconnected via bilateral trading. Shocks propagate throughout the network, depleting oil reserves when bottleneck nodes (such as the Strait of Hormuz) are blocked. Insights: The interesting part is the mechanics of how the crisis unfolds: for example, France receives 0…

Hello, I wanted to share with you all a interactive map of the economics and physics constraints of the AI buildout. It has macro drivers, industrial chokepoints, and where that shows up in markets. I've added 393 nodes and 562 edges to capture other supply / physics constraints as well. There's no sign up, and no pay wall, it's all free. Please let me know what you think!

Trickle - Magic Canvas ▲1,064Hey HN! Introducing Trickle Magic Canvas: the world’s first Agentic Canvas, where you can visually co-create apps and websites with AI, from idea to production. Why is a canvas better? Most AI tools today rely on linear chats or text prompts. We believe that limits creativity and clarity. Canvas changes the game. 1. Every version & page at a glance. Each page and sub-page lives on a timeline. You can quickly browse, edit, and preview progress like a living, visual document — no more digging through chat logs or scattered states. 2. The canvas is the context. Unlike linear chats, you can…

Today marks ten years, 3653 consecutive days, of running at least one mile every day under the USRSA rules [1]. To celebrate, I built an interactive dashboard that turns a decade of GPX files into charts you can explore. Running has truly changed my life: I've made lifelong friends, explored beautiful places, and more importantly invested into my own health and fitness, which I'm starting to see the positive benefits as I get older. The stack is pretty simple: a NextJS app, with a Postgres database to keep all my running data, and all the stats are pre-computed and cached in Redis, so I…

Made this website as an exercise in vibe-coding and GCP. It was posted about a few times around the internet, on sites like Morning Brew (https://www.morningbrew.com/issues/business-buzzkill), MetaFilter (https://www.metafilter.com/209703/Draw-A-Fish), boingboing.net, etc. I think it's cute! I built a basic CNN trained against penises and swastikas, and then anything that doesn't hit the 63% confidence score gets sent to a mod queue, a vibe-coded fish-tinder…

Hi HN - I made a site that takes a UK postcode, grabs the local MP's information and generates an AI mockup of what their ID might look like. It's a small, silly protest at the stupidity of the Online Safety Act that just came into force. edit - My open AI credits got hugged to death, please use a known postcode (like one from Kier Starmer's constituency, WC2B6NH) in the meantime.
