Mcpcalc.com – collaborative math documents for people and agents
I’m a math grad student. I wanted to create ephemeral calculator documents and spreadsheets that I can quickly use along with AI and embed in blog posts. I ended up making a bunch of collaborative calculators that support embedding, shareable live links, and an MCP interface.

What it does
MCPCalc is a collaborative math suite and calculator platform designed for the way people actually work today: across sessions, across devices, and increasingly alongside AI agents. It combines six deeply integrated math tools with a library of over 300 calculators spanning 15 categories, all built around the idea that math work should be shareable, fun, persistent, and accessible to both humans and the AI tools they rely on.
Use shared CAS, spreadsheet, plotting, proof, and RPN workspaces for collaborative math, plus online calculators for quick answers across finance, science, health, and more.
Choose a shared workspace to solve, graph, write, and explore math together or on your own. Open the suite first when the work may move between symbolic math, graphing, structured data, proof writing, and numeric verification. MCPCalc collaboration is built around saved sessions. Once a suite tool is saved, you can share one link for live editing and another for safe read-only viewing. Click Save & Share to turn your scratchpad into a persistent session. Send the live-edit link when you want someone to work in the same session with you. Share the read-only link when people should see the work but not change it. Use the collaborative link to work on problems together remotely in the same…from mcpcalc.com

I made a web-based notepad with a built in unit calculator2022 · numpad.io · ▲488I launched NumPad v1 on here a few years ago, and back then it wasn't much more than a thin CodeMirror wrapper around the calculator engine I'd written. Now I've rewritten it as a PWA that supports multiple documents, persists them to IndexedDB, and has a syncing service for paying customers. Syncing is handled by Automerge[1] under the hood, which should make it relatively easy to get document sharing working too. [1] https://automerge.org/
Figr.app – a multi-user, notepad style calculator (desktop app)2022 · figr.app · ▲275Hi all, just posting an update to my previous Show HN, where I announced a side-project I worked on which was a (web version) of a multi-user, notepad style calculator: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31817997 After a couple of user requests (and having a good think about it) I decided to migrate the web UI to create a Mac and Windows desktop app. After using it a little bit, I feel this is a much better experience than the webapp, and reduces a lot of the friction if I wanted to run a few small calculations. You can find the download links below:…
- IWI wished for a site with a growing list of math problems, I built it2024 · teachyourselfmath.app · ▲384
Good math problems are hidden inside textbooks and online documents. To keep up with all the sources in the world is hard. For someone who just wants to continuously solve problems, finding and going through all the sources feels like a hassle. I wished for a website that could just dump all the math problems available in the world out there. And if I could filter the problems by topics, that would be beautiful. teachyourselfmath is a side project that was born out of this need. At its core, it is a math PDF extraction engine. The engine has some machine learning going on behind the scenes…
While the world builds AI Agents, I'm just building calculators2025 · calcverse.live · ▲191I figured I needed to work on my coding skills before building the next groundbreaking AI app, so I started working on this free tool site. Its basically just an aggregation of various commonly used calculators and unit convertors. Link: https://www.calcverse.live Tech Stack: Next, React, Typescript, shadcn UI, Tailwind CSS Would greatly appreciate your feedback on the UI/UX and accessibilty. I struggled the most with navigation. I've added a search box, a sidebar, breadcrumbs and pages with grids of cards leading to the respective calculator or unit convertor, but not sure if…
- IGI Got Tired of Calculator Sites, So I Built My Own2025 · ▲58
I’ve always found that online calculators tend to have bad UIs, especially on mobile. Most of the calculator websites I’ve come across use outdated and inconvenient ways of inputting data, or they format the results in confusing ways. I’ve noticed that fraction calculators (especially mixed fractions) are terrible to use, even on desktop. I haven’t built one of those yet, but it’s something I’m planning to tackle soon. This is a project I’ve always wanted to work on, but I’m relatively new to this space. So far, I’ve created a collection of simple calculators focused on math and finance. I’d…

Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
