Memgraph 2.2. is released – graph database that supports streaming
A few days ago we have released a new version of Memgraph. Memgraph is a streaming graph application platform that helps you wrangle your streaming data, build sophisticated models that you can query in real-time, and develop applications. It is powered by an in-memory graph database built to handle real-time use-cases at enterprise scale. Memgraph supports strongly-consistent ACID transactions and uses the standardized Cypher query language for structuring, manipulating, and exploring data. The main new things in Memgraph 2.2 are: - you can run Memgraph now on Apple M1 based computers - you…
In plain words
Memgraph 2.2 is an in-memory graph database platform designed for processing streaming data in real-time at enterprise scale. It uses the Cypher query language and supports ACID transactions. The latest version adds Apple M1 support, WebSocket logging, Kafka stream configuration with CONFIG and CREDENTIALS clauses, and new built-in procedures. It is intended for developers building real-time graph applications that require low-latency querying and data manipulation.

Hi HN! I made many small web games in the past with Unity or Phaser. But this time I wanted to make something completely on my own. So I coded a basic game framework in plain JavaScript, and used it to make Almost Pong. This was a really fun project that taught me a lot about JavaScript, and I plan to make more minimalist games with this framework. Interesting fact: Almost Pong doesn't load any assets, all sprites and sounds are generated with code. Happy to answer questions, and please let me know if you have any feedback on the game. Thanks!
