Mindcase

Extract data from anywhere on the web within minutes

What it does

Mindcase is the infrastructure layer for extracting web data in a structured, usable format. Built for developers and AI teams that need reliable web data without managing scraping infrastructure. Access APIs across popular sources, or get anything across the web built as a custom API for your specific use case.

Get structured data from the web via prompt or API. 75+ pre-built scrapers for Amazon, LinkedIn, Google Maps, Instagram, Crunchbase and more. No infrastructure to maintain.

Power your AI agents with the cleanest, most structured web data — from 25+ sources. Extract complete LinkedIn profiles without logging in — by profile URL, or by searching for people with filters. Instagram posts and reels — captions, engagement, media, music and authors. By profile (posts, reels, tagged), post URL, hashtag or keyword. LinkedIn posts from any profile, company, post or feed URL — or by search with author, mention and content-type filters. Same clean record either way. Extract Reddit posts from any subreddit, post, user, or feed — with an optional keyword search on top. Posts only (no comment tree). Get LinkedIn company data — by company URL, or by searching with filters…from mindcase.co

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
