What it does

MINIMAL is an award-winning design and engineering studio responsible for iconic products like the Xbox 360 Slim, Logi Circle, Misfit Ray, LifeBEAM Vi, and the Lunatik line of smartphone and Apple Watch cases. The MNML Shop is focused on delivering designs that exist beyond trend and live on for generations, starting with the X-Series Timepieces.

Designer essentials created, collaborated, and curated by the MINIMAL team, starting with the X-Series Anniversary Watch Collection.

Machined from the inside to let the dial hands exist within the crystal’s volume, our unique atrium sapphire lens elevates traditional watch optics to a statement of craft, durability, and visual reduction. Forged from stainless steel, the case is sculpted to reduce visual mass common with most automatic timepieces as well as increase on-wrist comfort and everyday wearability. Our black case is finished with a scratch-resistant PVD coating. The X-Series is kinetically powered by a precision Miyota 8215 automatic movement that never requires winding. A sapphire window on the back—each laser etched with unique serialization—highlights the movement and our custom engraved anniversary rotor.…from shop.mnml.com
