Hey there - First of all: if you'd like to set up a developer or a company profile, feel free to reach out to me, I'm happy to assist. (email in bio) I've started Moonka.space because I was frustrated by some of the mechanisms that are now ubiquitous in IT recruitment. The endless spam, the poorly formulated job requirements, the often meaningless buzzword-sounding values that companies talk about. The core of the idea is that jobs are just working relationships where both side has a great opportunity and both sides benefit. Following the footsteps of @paulg, we started with things that don't scale easily: we developed a methodology to work with companies hiring, where we talk with decision makers and engineers alike. We build transparent profiles, where true values shine through, where stacks are realistic and requirements are clear. Our audience is developers and we help companies communicate their needs to them. For developers, we provide the opportunity to create a clean, but thorough professional profile with one-click job applications and clear feedback loops. For companies, we provide transparent company profiles and job listings, along with collaborative tools to help manage applications. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm eager to hear them.

Doing a (very) soft launch today, mainly because I want to use it to encourage discussion of alternatives. How non.io works: 1. Free to browse, paid to interact. 2. Minimum subscription is $2 (though you can choose more). I take $1 to run the servers, everything left gets split evenly between everything you upvote that month. It's a simple model, but I hope it's a better one than the freemium model we've been relying on for the last few years. Fundamentally I feel like any ad-supported…
