What it does
Mos is a lightweight but powerfull tool for mouse on MacOS. It aims to optimize your mouse scrolling experience from providing the smooth scrolling, it also can set the scroll direction of mouse independently.
Mos is a free macOS utility that makes mouse wheel scrolling smooth, with per-app settings, independent axis tuning, and button/shortcut bindings.
Make the wheel follow your fingers like a trackpad, and unlock what every button on your mouse was meant to do. A regular mouse wheel can't sample as finely as a macOS trackpad, so the page can only jump in fixed steps. Mos reshapes that intent with a carefully tuned algorithm grounded in real physical inertia — turning it into smooth, precise motion that flows with your fingers. Every app gets its own scroll curve and behavior. Precise or smooth — you decide. Bind any mouse button to a quick action and shape your workflow exactly how you like. Mos is a free macOS menu bar utility for smooth mouse wheel scrolling. It is not a hosted SaaS product, OAuth provider, webhook service, public MCP…from mos.caldis.me
