What it does
Moth is an open-source MCP server that gives AI coding agents (Claude, Cursor, etc.) a verified bug-fix memory. Instead of agents blindly guessing fixes from unredacted logs and repeating the same mistakes, Moth structures the workflow. It automatically redacts API secrets, detects the framework stack, analyzes the error, and records only strictly verified successes/failures to a localmoth/fix-memory.jsonl file. Read-only, deterministic, and fully local.
A debugging workflow plugin for AI coding agents. Turns terminal failures into source-backed fixes via MCP and structured skills. - stfade/moth
Moth is a lightweight MCP server for project-local bug-fix analysis and verified fix memory. Moth receives error output through MCP, redacts likely secrets, normalizes the failure, detects the likely stack, checks project-local fix memory, and returns a structured fix brief. Moth does not edit code, run shell commands, crawl repositories, require a backend, or maintain a global bug database. Bug-fix context is often local to a project: the command that failed, the framework in use, nearby configuration, and fixes that have already worked or failed in that repo. Moth keeps that workflow small and explicit. It analyzes provided error context, suggests a best first fix, and records only…from github.com

VibeShift MCP2025 · github.com · ▲141Hi HN, We are the devs behind VibeShift. We have been building this MCP server to put AI coding assistants in an automatic feedback loop. They code, test, debug, fix everything until we have a fully working, secure code. It tests like a real user, copies network/console and logical errors to give them back to cursor. (1 min demo - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bN_RgQGa8B0) We felt this was the natural next step for AI coding assistants. And with new asynchronous assistants like codex, having a plug & play tester makes sure you don't have to spend time debugging and…

Horizons – OSS agent execution engineFeb 2026 · github.com · ▲39I'm Josh, founder of Synth. We've been working on coding agent optimization with method like GEPA and MIPRO (the latter of which, I helped to originally develop), agent evaluation via methods like RLMs, and large scale deployment for training and inference. We've also worked on patterns for memory, processing live context, and managing agent actions, combining it all in a single stack called Horizons. With the release of OpenAI's Frontier and the consumer excitement around OpenClaw, we think the timing is right to release a v0. It integrates with our sdk for evaluation and optimization but…

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
