Mpath

Validate SAN multi-pathing with absolute confidence.

What it does

Validate SAN multipathing with absolute confidence. Mpath (by MultipathIQ) analyzes your Brocade fabric exports locally in your browser, instantly verifying host path health across FAB-A and FAB-B. No data leaves your machine. Eliminate blind spots, prevent single-point-of-failure risks, and generate actionable validation insights, clear observability maps, and export-ready compliance reports in seconds. Turn tedious SAN audits into a one-click reality.

Does the same job

Smart model routing directly in Claude, Codex and CursorJun 2026 · github.com · ▲216

We built a model router that plugs into coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) and intelligently sends requests to the best model to serve them. Here's a quick demo of running it locally: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isKhAyivtfM. At Weave, we write most of our code with AI, and it's been getting more expensive. This came to a head when Opus 4.7 was released and, thanks to its tokenizer changes, our costs shot up. We knew we didn't need Opus for everything but we didn't want to lose out on the intelligence for the cases where you really need it. So we decided…

    A physically-based GPU ray tracer written in JuliaFeb 2026 · makie.org · ▲198

We ported pbrt-v4 to Julia and built it into a Makie backend. Any Makie plot can now be rendered with physically-based path tracing. Julia compiles user-defined physics directly into GPU kernels, so anyone can extend the ray tracer with new materials and media - a black hole with gravitational lensing is ~200 lines of Julia. Runs on AMD, NVIDIA, and CPU via KernelAbstractions.jl, with Metal coming soon. Demo scenes: github.com/SimonDanisch/RayDemo

    Code in Response to “The Trouble with Symlinks.”2022 · kylheku.com · ▲5

See: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32190032 This was written in about the past hour or so; it has no documentation or test cases yet. Think twice before relying on it in production. The idea is that we can perform a detailed validation of the trustworthiness of an absolute or relative path, as a simple function that can be reused anywhere: I call this function safepath_check. A trustworthy path is one whose meaning cannot be changed by a third party: another user who isn't root. The path is therefore immune, for instance, to TOCtoTOU security problems, like the…

    RowboatX – open-source Claude Code for everyday automationsNov 2025 · github.com · ▲131

Claude Code is great, but it’s focused on coding. The missing piece is a native way to build and run custom background agents for non-code tasks. We built RowboatX as a CLI tool modeled after Claude Code that lets you do that. It uses the file system and unix tools to create and monitor background agents for everyday tasks, connect them to any MCP server for tools, and reason over their outputs. Because RowboatX runs locally with shell access, the agents can install tools, execute code, and automate anything you could do in a terminal with your explicit permission. It works with any…

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
