In plain words
MultiMatte is a background removal tool that uses text prompts to identify which objects to keep in an image while removing the rest. Users describe what they want to retain, and the model automatically removes the surrounding background and unwanted elements. Built on Meta's SAM 3 architecture, MultiMatte uses efficient fine-tuning to achieve accurate subject isolation. The tool is available for users to test with their own images.
