Muscula

Muscula started years ago when there weren't many error monitoring options on the market. It's been running in production since then, tracking JS, PHP, C#, and Java errors. Nothing fancy - error grouping, stack traces, trends, uptime checks, alerts. The kind of stuff you actually look at. Now there are dozens of monitoring tools, but most of them have grown into expensive, complex platforms. Muscula stayed small on purpose. It just does the job. What's new: I've recently added a CLI and an MCP server. The CLI lets you browse errors from the terminal (`muscula errors "MyProject"`) and pipe…

Muscula launched on November 3, 2021 with 11 votes, #1,246 of 2,925 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 4 years on.

What it does

Muscula allows you get instant notification on errors. Normally you would check developers console in browser, or server logs to see what happened. With Muscula you can check everything in one place. Uptime monitoring is also possible. Free plan is avaialble!

Muscula monitors your applications in real-time, surfacing errors and exceptions directly in your AI-powered development workflow via MCP protocol.

You don't need to dig through logs. You don't even need to understand the error. Just ask your AI — it already knows what's broken and how to fix it. How many errors are silently frustrating your users right now? Teams using Muscula find out in seconds — not days. You describe the problem. AI finds it, explains it, and fixes it — right in your terminal. No log digging. No guesswork. Just results. "Fix the checkout error." That's it. Your AI already has the stack trace, the context, and the solution. You just approve. Tired of switching between tabs and tools? Errors flow straight into your terminal. Your AI sees them the moment they happen. Not every error is equal. AI triages them by…from muscula.com

Hi Hacker News! Shahar and Tal from Keep here. A few months ago, we introduced here at HN (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34806482) Keep as an “open source alerting CLI” and got some interesting feedback - mainly around UI, automation, and supporting more tools. We were VERY early back then, and we understood that although the current DX around creating alerts is not great, it's not that critical and developers don’t need another tool just for that. But we did find something else. While talking to developers and devops, we found that a lot of companies use many tools…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
