My exercise bike hooked up to an xbox - pedal faster to drive faster.

In plain words

Project Excitebike is a DIY exercise bike connected to an Xbox console where pedaling speed controls in-game vehicle acceleration. Launched in 2010, it combines physical cycling with racing gameplay, making it suitable for gamers seeking an active alternative to traditional controller-based play. The project transforms stationary exercise into an interactive gaming experience by linking real-world pedal effort directly to on-screen performance.
