my weekend project, Vidless. "CloudApp" for video chat.
I always find myself frustrated by how many steps I have to take to video chat with someone online. There's always too much software to download and install, and too many accounts to remember. The high-end, high-price Cisco conferencing systems I've used are especially fragile. So I built Vidless in a weekend for myself, and I hope you find it useful too. Just create a room and share the link, and you'll be chatting in seconds. You can invite several people (I haven't really tested a max yet), and chats on Vidless are always private. Enjoy!

In plain words
Vidless is a web-based video chat tool designed to simplify online communication by eliminating software downloads and account creation. Users can create a room, share a link, and begin video chatting instantly with multiple participants. All conversations remain private. Built as a weekend project to address frustrations with complex conferencing systems, it prioritizes ease of use over extensive features.

A javascript library that allows easy manipulation of the favicon to include nice looking alert bubbles. This means that users can pin your site and still see when their attention is needed! It's been done before, but in my opinion not in a way aesthetically pleasing enough for production use. This library also falls back to the standard number in page title approach for browsers that do no support canvas / dynamic favicons. Thoughts welcome.
