When your child can't tell you what they're thinking or what they want, it's heartbreaking. You love them, but you can't reach them. The first time my non-verbal son used a choice board to show me what he actually wanted — everything changed. We weren't just caregiver and child anymore. We were communicating. Designed for clarity and ease of use. Large icons, simple navigation, and distraction-free screens. We understand the challenges families face. MyVisualRoutine was built to make daily life smoother. Built on ABA therapy, TEACCH methodology, and AAC principles. Designed by experts, loved by families. Create visual daily routines your child can follow independently. Hey all, I built this. It’s not trying to capture every autistic experience (that’d be impossible). It’s based on my own lived experience as well as that of friends on the spectrum. I'm trying to give people a feel for what masking, decision fatigue, and burnout can look like day-to-day. That’s hard to explain in words, but easier to show through choices and stats. I'm not trying to "define autism". I’ve gotten good feedback here about resilience, meds, and difficulty tuning. I’ll keep tweaking it. If even a few people walk away thinking, "ah, maybe that’s why my coworker struggles in those…

Lack of executive functioning skills 3. Task initiation issues These three were severely affecting his grades. We had a consultation with a Developmental Psychologist who prescribed Concerta that improves his ability to focus in class. In addition he also has the boilerplate ADHD accommodations(2X time on tests and quiet place to take the test). These collectively improved his test taking abilities. But, when it came to his…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
