NegativeEV – I built a tool to help people see how bad their bets are launched on July 30, 2026 with 6 votes, #3,356 of 24,623 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.
What it does
NegativeEV is the first tool built to surface the bad bets. Most bets are bad bets, and people know it, but they always think theirs is one of the good ones. They're wrong. Check before you place it and see if the data backs it up. It usually doesn't. Free.
Paste a bet and NegativeEV checks it against thousands of simulated games to tell you whether the price is good, bad, or fair. No. It grades bets that are brought to it. There is no pick list, no play of the day, and no scan of the board for value — a bet has to be pasted in before there is anything to say about it. Nothing. Ten checks a day without an account; signing in removes the daily cap and replaces it with a per-hour pace limit. Every check runs the actual game thousands of times, play by play, and counts how often the bet would have won. That simulated win rate is compared with the probability the sportsbook's price implies. When the book's number is the higher one, the price is…from negativeev.com

Analysing Euro 2024 betting odds with scraping and AI2024 · notebooks.nodescript.dev · ▲8I created a bot which analyses Euro 2024 betting odds and performs some basic analysis based on the recent form of each team and provides advice on which odds are under/over-priced by email to all subscribers. The intelligence of the bot is admittedly rather basic but this simple app shows how easy it is to reliably scrape and parse structured data with AI and perform insightful analysis. The initial version of the bot, shown in the notebook took about 15 minutes to build. Disclosure: this bot is built on our new graph based #nocode platform NodeScript.dev, which we've recently brought…
- ATAI that summarize news and analyze potential stock impact2023 · wocstreet.com · ▲10
Hi Everyone, I was frustrated with the terrible news reading experience (Paywall, advertisements) so I created a free tool that summarizes the latest news articles and analyzes the potential stock impacts. This experiment has saved me so much time to help me understand what might be more important than others. It's completely free, no ad whatsoever. However, AI is a blackbox so take the rating (positive, negative, long-term, and short-term impact) with a grain of salt. It may have picked up some nuances within the article to give a rating and you might not agree with it. Please let me know…

I might be the only SRE on Earth with his own bowling center. It's a more in-depth gig than you'd think. My family and I bought an abandoned 8-lane bowling center in the rural mid-west. In our small town there weren't many recreation options for families. You've heard of a food desert? This is an R&R desert. It had been abandoned for a good reason. The roof leaks, the electrical system was constantly surging, and my 70-year-old bowling equipment (still) doesn't work perfectly. The system that keeps your score is particularly interesting to me. It's the thing you watch during your game, but…

Over the past few months, our team has been building more and more slidedecks using web frontend technologies with coding harnesses like Claude Code, but a common complaint is to make even small edits we need to edit the code either manually or via the harness. To avoid this loop, I ended up creating Bento, a single HTML file with everything you need in a slide tool including animations and shared editing. There's no install or cloud login, everything works offline. The default deck is around 560 KB and it doesn't need to fetch anything once you got it. Open it in a browser and then you can…

A few days ago I found myself trying out GLM 5.2 and was really positively impressed. The capabilities and security I was getting from this LLM are similar to those I've gotten from models like Claude or GPT, and this really surprised me. But then I thought, "I wonder how it would work on a normal computer like mine," and above all, "I wonder if it would work without going into OOM on a computer like mine." So I started working with the help of agents to test this possibility. I started converting the model to int4, understanding MTP usage, and if possible implementing DSA for long context.…

OpenSEO▲928Hello! For the last 2 months, I've been building OpenSEO. It's a user friendly UI wrapping the DataForSEO API which has high quality SEO data for keywords, backlinks, AI SEO and competitor research. Instead of paying $100+ per month, you buy DataForSEO credits and pay only for usage. The coolest thing about the project so far has been hearing about what people are building on top of it. People are using coding agents to quickly integrate with Google Search Console, Google Ads and building their own AI SEO and reporting features. Many were already building their own custom solutions around…
