Nissan's official mobile app for their LEAF electric car doesn't have a widget for quickly checking the car's battery charge status on your phone's home screen, so for a fun side project I decided to make my own using free tools like GitHub Actions, Appium, Tailscale, and Apple Shortcuts.
Nissan's Leaf app doesn't have a home screen widget so I made my own launched on April 14, 2025 with 122 votes, #382 of 7,818 launches that month and more than 95% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution.
