What it does

Test your server and website with Ping, Traceroute, DNS, HTTP and more from global nodes

Run NodeCook Agent to make your server a global check node. Configure a sponsor title and link, and the sponsor slot for that node will appear in test results. The agent code is fully open source and auditable, with no hidden collection or extra execution logic. Run the install script on your server. The agent will connect to NodeCook automatically. Use NCA_TITLE and NCA_LINK to set the display title and target link. After the node is online, the sponsor will appear with that node in Ping, HTTP, DNS, and otherfrom nodecook.com

  Howdy HN! I find myself testing my ping from time to time, especially when my internet seems wonky while WFH. It feels like there should be an easier way test my ping than puling up a terminal or a complex web app - especially when I'm on my phone or any other device that doesn't have a terminal.
