NOFEE

Sell your home yourself: free tools + open price data

What it does

Selling a home without an agent is hard: you don't know which portals accept private sellers in your country, or how to write a listing that doesn't look amateur. NOFEE does both, free, no signup, no card, and never a commission. It also publishes what no single portal can: a live cross-country asking-price index, built from portal buyer-alert emails across 21 countries, with open data (JSON/CSV) and every held-back market shown with its reason.

Tell us about your property, or paste a listing you already published. You get a finished title and description to copy straight into a portal — free, in your language, with no account, no email and no card.

Tell us about the place, or paste a listing you have already published. You get a finished title and description you can copy straight into a portal — in your language, at no charge, without signing up for anything. Selling in the US, the UK or Spain? Order a comparable-listings report — $10 / £8 / €9 / ₪38 depending on the market, charged only once it is delivered. Order a report No commission — ever. You will never hear the word “percent” from us. We never state what your property is worth and never recommend a price. You are the publisher of record, from your own account — you decide and stay in control; we never publish or negotiate on your behalf. Tell us where the property is and we…from nofee.realestate

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
