Noor

The practice OS for UK immigration firms, in every language

Noor launched on April 22, 2026 with 1 votes, #8,101 of 21,248 launches that month.

What it does

Every day, UK immigration solicitors receive WhatsApp messages in Urdu, Arabic, Bengali, and Farsi from clients who can't communicate in English. They translate them by hand on Google Translate (violating SRA confidentiality rules), manually file them into case management systems that weren't built for messaging, and spend 4+ hours building tribunal bundles that need to be indexed, paginated, and legally defensible.

The immigration case-work workspace that treats the original language as the record and English as the lens. Built for UK firms under SRA and IAA compliance.

Noor is the practice OS for immigration firms whose clients don't speak English. WhatsApp in Urdu, Bengali, Farsi or Arabic comes in — translated, transcribed, filed, and audit-sealed — before you've had your first coffee. A typical UK immigration caseworker juggles WhatsApp threads in four languages, voice notes at 3am, passport photos out of sequence, and a 28-day tribunal clock. Existing practice software assumes everyone speaks English and all documents arrive as neatly-labelled PDFs. Neither is true. Over 80% of client contact happens on WhatsApp, in the client's first language. None of it flows into your case management system. If the SRA asks, you're screenshotting. • With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
