In plain words

NotchBar is an open-source macOS app that adds widgets around the notch on Apple's newer MacBook displays. The app was created by a developer learning Swift and designed to be practical for their own use. It allows users to customize widgets in the notch area and accepts suggestions for additional widget types from the community.
