NotedWP

What it does

Client feedback is broken. Screenshots with red circles, Loom links with shaky cursors, Slack messages saying "the thing on the about page looks weird." NotedWP fixes this. Clients click anywhere on a live WordPress page, leave a note, and see it pinned in context. Annotations track status (Open, In Review, Resolved) so nothing slips. Works with any theme or builder. No iframe, no SaaS dashboard, no per-seat pricing. Native WordPress plugin. Data stays in your install.

I built Notedis - a visual feedback widget that captures annotated screenshots plus the technical context I need to debug (browser info, device details, screen resolution). Clients don't need to login or learn anything new. They click the widget, draw on what's wrong, and I can fix things much quicker with context. $20/month flat. Unlimited sites, unlimited feedback. No seats, no tiers. I kept it deliberately simple - three components: widget, dashboard, email replies. No Slack integrations, no AI features, no roadmap to enterprise. Just the core workflow that actually saves me time.…

Hey folks, I would like to show you a new WordPress plugin and ask you for your opinion. The plugin allows you to find large files in your WordPress installation. This is useful, for example, when hard disk space is running low or backups are becoming too large or taking too long. If you like it, I am happy to get a rating on wordpress.org. I am thankful for any review / comment! Thanks, Marcel

  Talanoa▲346

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Built a ~9M param LLM from scratch to understand how they actually work. Vanilla transformer, 60K synthetic conversations, ~130 lines of PyTorch. Trains in 5 min on a free Colab T4. The fish thinks the meaning of life is food. Fork it and swap the personality for your own character.

  I built a frontpage for personal blogs▲783

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
