What it does

Nudge makes the internet less addictive without blocking it: by removing addictive features, putting friction in the right places, and visualising how much time you’re spending. 💎 Bonus: it lets you delete your Facebook News Feed across all devices.

Nudge saves you from wasting time online with smart, beautiful interventions inspired by psychology. When you visit a distracting site, you'll be shown your intention for today. You'll have to drag a slider to visit the site. Things like related articles and infinite feeds will be hidden by default, until you intentionally decide to reveal them. Transparent colored circles will grow on a distracting site the longer you spend there. A subtle notification will show every 10 screens you scroll down a distractingfrom nudgeware.io

The fact is that sometimes you need to visit reddit for some info, but you don't want to get caught in an addictive loop. Disabling entire hostnames or trying to configure intricate block lists is annoying, and the end result is annoying. Parental controls don't work on me, and I resent them. I remembered what Tristan Harris once said on ways to prevent…
